The Project: A Full Sunroom Build from the Ground Up
This was a complete, total build — and every decision was made with quality, longevity, and natural light in mind. The result is a bright, airy, genuinely usable room that feels like a natural extension of the home.
Why a Leka Warm Roof?
The standout feature of this project is the Leka warm roof system.
Unlike older conservatory roofing solutions, a Leka warm roof is a fully insulated, solid tiled roof that regulates temperature year-round — warm in winter, cool in summer, and genuinely usable in every season. It’s also low maintenance and built to last, making it one of the smartest long-term investments you can make in your home.
Bringing the Light In: Fixed Roof Light & Velux Window
A solid roof doesn’t have to mean a dark room. We incorporated both a fixed roof light and a Velux window into this build, flooding the interior with natural daylight. The Velux also allows for ventilation on warmer days, keeping the space fresh and comfortable without compromising the clean aesthetic of the roofline.
The Gable Front: Form Meets Function
The gable-fronted design was a key part of this project. By extending the roofline into a gable shape, we created additional headroom, improved the kerb appeal, and allowed even more light to pour in through the glazed gable end — exactly as intended.
